Obituary

Yolanda M. (Garguilo) Tkaczuk passed away on October 27, 2012. She was 85 years old.

Born in Boston, Yolanda grew up in the West End of the city. She was a longtime resident of Malden and was a member of the Lucky 10 Club.

Yolanda was the devoted wife of 46 years to the late Andrew Tkaczuk. She was the beloved mother of Diane Cone of Oviedo, Florida, Andrea DeSimone and her husband Connie of Orlando, Florida, Kathy Diaz and her husband Dennis of Revere and Richard Tkaczuk and his wife Maryann of Wakefield. Yolanda was the dear sister of the late Grace Zaia, Eleanor Lattanzio, Josephine DiPietro and David Garguilo. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, November 2nd at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday, November 1st from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
