Obituary

William M. Topping passed away on June 1, 2010. He was 83 years old.

Born in Boston, William was a lifelong resident of Malden. He worked at the Holy Cross Cemetery for many years and was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.

William was the devoted husband of Arlene (Cousins) Topping, his wife of 59 years. He was the loving father of William M. Topping Jr. of Malden, Mildred J. Dietz and her husband William of Methuen, Karen M. Dietz and her husband Robert of Lynnfield, Theresa A. McLaughlin and her husband Richard of Everett and the late Arthur J. and Lucille L. Topping. William was the dear brother of June Reinstien of Stoneham and Howard Topping of Malden. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, June 5th at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, June 4th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
