Obituary

William E. Risteen passed away on January 18, 2011. He was 77 years old.

Born in Malden, William grew up in Everett and was a longtime resident of Malden. He worked at the Continental Can Co. in Malden for many years and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

William was the son of the late Earl and Mildred (Frazier) Risteen. He was the loving brother of Thomas Risteen of Melrose and the late Helen Risteen McKeil and Richard Risteen Sr. and the cherished uncle of Richard Risteen Jr, Steven Risteen and Katherine Risteen Rawston.

A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, January 23rd from 4-6 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
