Obituary

Vincent Mazziotti passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on April 1, 2008. He was 86 years old.

Born and raised in Malden, Vincent attended the Malden Public Schools. He worked as a machinist for many years at the Monroe Shipyard in Chelsea. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Revere and the Malden Moose and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Vincent was the beloved husband of Mary (Marzocchi) Mazziotti and the son of the late Dominick and Julia Mazziotti. He was the loving father of Claire Drane and her husband John of Wakefield and Vincent P. Mazziotti of Malden. Vincent was the dear brother of Marie Mogauro of Saugus and her late husband Sam, Beatrice Gaeta of Malden and the late Joseph Mazziotti. He was the cherished grandfather of Daniel Drane of Wakefield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, April 4th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday, April 3rd from 4-8 p.m. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincent's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
