Obituary

Ugo C. Abbatinozzi passed away peacefully on August 15, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years old.

Ugo was a longtime resident of Malden. He was a United States Navy Veteran during World War II and worked for Piantedosi Baking Co. for many years.

Ugo was the devoted husband of 51 years to Donna (Colman) Abbatinozzi. He was the beloved father of Paul Abbatinozzi and his wife Waynett, Diane Curry and her husband Bill, Jean Abbatinozzi-Chick and her husband Tony, and David Abbatinozzi and his wife Michelle. Ugo was the cherished grandfather of Paul Jr., James, Claire, Steven, David Jr., Zoe, Zachary and Nicholas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was loved by all.

A service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday August 20th at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
