Obituary

Theresa M. (Bonaiuto) Mello, a resident of Saugus and longtime resident of Malden, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2018. She was 91 years old.

Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mello. She was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Repucci) Bonaiuto. Theresa was the loving mother of Patricia Terranova and her husband John of Orlando, FL and the late Stephen Porretta and his surviving wife Ellen. She was the dear sister of Anthony Bonaiuto and the late Paul Bonaiuto. Theresa was the cherished grandmother of Maria Terranova-Sadovnik and her husband Rico, and Lori, Joanna and Cory, and great grandmother of RJ, Siena, Maeve, and Carter.

Funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday August 7th at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00am-11:00am prior to the service. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
