Obituary

Thelma P. (Perrigo) Nigro, a resident of Billerica, MA, and formerly of Malden, MA, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023. She was 76 years old.

Thelma was born in Melrose, MA to the late Wendell and Ruth (Gove) Perrigo. She worked at Mal's Market and Market Basket in the Meat Department.

Thelma was the beloved wife of Arthur J. Nigro. She was the loving mother of Chris Nigro and his wife Natalie, Brad Nigro and his wife Tina, Todd Nigro, Scott Nigro and his wife Jeannie, and Ryan Nigro. Thelma leaves behind her dear sisters Valeria Ryder, Priscilla MacVicar and her husband Roy, and brother Howe Perrigo. She was the cherished grandmother of Kayla, Samantha, Hunter, Madison, Austin, Jenna, and Sydney Nigro.

Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, May 13th from 9:30 am-12pm followed by a service at 12pm at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
