Obituary

Susan V. (Joltki) Bates, a longtime resident of Malden passed away on April 17, 2016. She was 56 years old.

Susan was the Beloved daughter of Paul and Virginia (Kobylarz) Joltki. She was the former wife of Joseph Bates. Susan was the beloved mother of Andrew Bates and his wife Alyssa of Saugus, Ashley Bates of North Carolina, and Emily Moran of Malden. She was the dear sister of Michael Joltki and his wife Darlene of Winthrop and Michelle Scorzella and her husband Marc of Winthrop. Susan was the cherished grandmother of Paul Joseph and Paisley Marie. She is also survived by many cousins.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Sunday April 24th from 2-6p.m. A service will be held at 5:30p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
