Obituary

Silvia Lavargna passed away on May 22, 2009. She was 92 years old.

Born in Boston, Silvia grew up in East Boston and was a longtime resident of Malden.

Silvia was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence Lavargna. She was the beloved mother of Lawrence Lavargna Jr. and his wife Elaine of Malden and the late Richard Lavargna. She was the dear sister of Emelia Fontana of Somerville and the late William Castrini, Jeanette Carneau, Mary Gliona, Margaret Vozzella and Gloria Castrini. Sylvia was the cherished grandmother of Lawrence Lavargna, Lauren Bray, Marianne Dushinski and Steven Lavargna. She is also survived by 7 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Upon Silvia's request services and interment are private.
