Obituary

Sandra M. (Candeloro) Nelson passed away on March 2, 2008. She was 68 years old.

Born and raised in Malden, Sandra resided there throughout her life. She was an avid bingo player and will be greatly missed by her family.

Sandra was the devoted wife of the late Robert Nelson and the daughter of the late Cesaro and Rose Candeloro. She was the beloved mother of Fred Foresteire and his wife Robin of Dracut, Cheryl Hansen and her husband Tom of Billerica, Joseph Foresteire of Melrose and Sandra Gallagher of Billerica. Sandra was the dear sister of Diane Cenci and her husband Mario, John Candeloro and his wife Susan, Robert Candeloro and his wife Dorothy, Kenneth Candeloro and his friend Geraldine Goldman, Richard Candeloro and his wife Arlene and the late Thomas Candeloro. She was the cherished grandmother of Kyle, Kory and Kourtni Hansen, Alyssa Gallagher, Joshua Collins and Joseph, Kristopher, Matthew and Michael Foresteire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, March 5th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 4th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
