Obituary

Samuel J. "Sammy" Saldutti passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on March 11, 2013. He was 85 years old.

Sammy was a lifelong resident of Malden. He worked as a laborer for Tropeano Construction Company for many years. Sammy was Past president of the Italian American Citizens Club, past post commander of the Italian American Veterans Post 16, member of the American Legion Post 69 and the Irish American Cub all of Malden. He was a United States Army Veteran during WWII.

Sammy was the beloved husband of 50 years to Shirley (Hallberg) Saldutti. He was the loving father of Marie Coulighin and the late Eric Saldutti. Sammy was the dear brother of Sal Saldutti, Judy Reppucci and the late Adeline Barbaro. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held from the A.J.Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street Malden on Thursday March 14th at 10:30am. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wednesday March 13th from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
