Salvatore Bordonaro of Malden passed away on August 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years old.

Salvatore found joy when he was having a glass of wine while watching family feud and playing Scopa.

Salvatore was the son of the late Calogero and Angela Bordonaro. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria A. (Mulone) Bordonaro. Salvatore was the loving father of Angela Stodder and her husband Jimmy, Maria Covino and her husband George, Calogero Bordonaro and his wife Kathleen, and Patricia Coffey and her husband Patrick. He was the brother of the late Luigi and sister-in-law Tina Bordonaro, the late Joseph Bordonaro, along with Fina and brother-in-law Joseph Rindone, and Angelo and sister-in-law Jean Bordonaro. Salvatore was the cherished Nonno to Giovanni, Nina, Gia, Emmalina, Kayla, Alexa and Colin, and great grandson Lorenzo.

Funeral from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday August 24th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Salvatore’s life in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday August 23rd from 2:00pm-6:00pm.

Entombment will be in Holy Cross Chapel Hill Mausoleum, Malden.
