Obituary

Salvatore F. Battistello passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021. He was 96 years old.

Salvatore was a lifelong resident of Malden and a United States Navy Veteran during WWII.

Salvatore was the husband of the late Marie (Nelson) Battistello. He was the brother of the late Rose Battistello, Mary Switzer, and Frank Battistello. Salvatore was the grandfather of Matthew Zolnick, and great grandfather of Gloria and Victoria Zolnick. He was the uncle of Frank Battistello and Beverly Dardeno. He is also survived by great nieces and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Salvatore's life will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Monday November 8th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday from 8:30am-9:30am prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden
