Obituary

Rudolph "Rudy" A. Cafarella passed away on September 11, 2013. He was 84 years old.

Rudy was a lifelong resident of Malden and a longtime salesman in provisions. He was the founder of Medallian Foods and served in the United States Air Force Veteran during WWII.

Rudy was the devoted husband of 61 years to Gloria (Brescia) Cafarella. He was the beloved father of Tom Cafarella and his wife Ronna of Malden, Janice Crossen and her husband Kenneth of Peabody, David Cafarella and his wife Sanita of Billerica and the late Robert Cafarella. Rudy was the dear brother of Joseph Cafarella, and the late Rose Worth, Mary Cafarella, Phil Cafarella and Elena Clanny. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, September 16th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, September 15th from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
