Rose Tomasello age 69 of Rockland Ma passed away after a brief illness.
Rose was born in Malden, Ma to Peter and Frances (Spitzbarth) Tomasello.
She was a graduate of Malden High School where she excelled in field hockey, basketball and softball earning an induction into the Golden Tornado club hall of fame. After high school Rose worked at Viking Seafoods in Malden where she formed forever friends that still hold true today. She most recently worked at Lamarca and Sons bakery in Malden as a human resource manager which she found very rewarding.
Rose was a sports enthusiast playing softball for Winter Hill participating in countless tournaments all over New England and beyond making great lifelong friends along the way. She loved her Boston teams especially the days of Larry Bird and most recently The Patriots and Drake May. Rose loved to travel anywhere there was a beach, a sunset and a casino most especially were the trips to Aruba.
Rose made in impact on all that she knew and was greatly loved and respected by so many. Rose’s motto was simple, to always treat people as she would want to be treated and she lived by that.
Rose is survived by her loving wife Denise Carroll of Rockland. She was the cherished sister of Barbara Mcglinchy and Bernard Santo of Beverly Ma. Rose was the beloved sister-in-law to Paul Condon of Malden Ma, David and Terry Foley of Rockland Ma Daniel and Elida Carroll of Braintree Ma and James Carroll of Brockton Ma. Rose is predeceased by her sister Jean Condon, Brother Robert Santo and Barrett King. She was the cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews that she adored and loved spending time with and spoiling them. Her loving cousins that were more like siblings and countless lifelong friends
Funeral from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday July 18th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Rose's life in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday July 17th from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Interment will be private.
