Obituary

Rose M. Battistello passed away on March 3, 2009. She was 93 years old.

Born in Nova Scotia, Rose was a lifelong resident of Malden. She worked for Converse Rubber for 43 years and was a charter member of the Malden Eagles.

Rose was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Candeloro) Battistello. She was the loving sister of Sal Battistello of Malden and the late Mary Switzer and Frank Battistello. Rose was also the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, March 6th at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday, March 5th from 4-7 p.m. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
