Obituary

Robert A. McKinnon passed away on April 29, 2010. He was 65 years old.

Born in Chelsea, Robert was a longtime resident of Malden. He served in the U.S. Army, 82 Airborne Division and was a truck driver for many years before he became ill. He was also a member of the V.F.W. and the Eagles.

Robert was the former husband and friend of Arlene (Johnston) McKinnon. He was the son of the late Melvin F. and Eleanor M. McKinnon. Robert was the beloved father of Robert McKinnon Jr. of Georgia and Cindy McKinnon of Billerica. He was the dear brother of John "Jack" McKinnon, Charlotte McKinnon, Barbara Mannke, Nancy Howard, Mary Ellen McPherson, Catherine Hyde, Patricia Flaherty and the late Harry, Melvin Jr. and Ronald McKinnon and Eleanor Potter. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, May 5th from 5-8 p.m. A service will be held at 7:30 p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
