Obituary

Robert P. Knox Sr., a lifelong resident of Malden passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 9, 2021, after a longtime battle with heart disease and other complications. He was 74 years old.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He previously owned Bell Rock Movers and retired as a foreman from the Malden Housing Authority in 2011.

Robert was the beloved husband of 53 years to Catherine (Sannizzaro) Knox. He was the loving father of Robert Knox Jr. and his wife Marianne of Malden, Jason Knox and his wife Cheri of Salem, NH, and Raquel Fox and her husband John of Malden. Robert was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Jake Fox, Jessica Pappagallo and her husband Anthony, Jason, Lindsay, Joshua, Kaitlyn, and Ryan Knox. He is also survived by his 3 great grandchildren Lucas Vasconselos, Jason Knox and Emma Pappagallo.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Dale Cemetery, 150 Forest Street, Malden on Thursday July 15th at 9:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday July 14th from 4-8pm.
