Obituary

Robert E. Bond passed away on July 22, 2023. He was 61 years old.

Beloved Son of the Late Elizabeth J 'Scolley' Bond, and the Late Robert G Bond, Brother of Elizabeth "Beth" Kairis, her husband Christopher, Kathy Bond and James Bond. Loving and dearest friend of Valarie J. Pascale and John J McCarthy.

He sadly had a long courageous battle with cancer. Robert was hard working, generous hearted, and outspoken. Robert was a Graduate at Malden High School Class of 1979, and a longtime employee for the MBTA. Robert was dedicated and took lots of pride at being Barn Captain for The Boston Carmen's Union Local 589 for the MBTA
Charlestown Branch. He always enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and taking long drives and traveling. He liked spending relaxing times at home watching sports and soaps. He also enjoyed Facebook, cooking and shopping online. Robert will be dearly missed and never forgotten by all his loved ones and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 main Street, Malden on Friday August 4th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
