Obituary

Robert E. "Bob" Grande passed away on June 12, 2011. He was 60 years old.

Born in Revere, Robert was a longtime resident of Malden and Saugus. He worked for many years at Logan Airport as an Airport Operations Shift Manager. Robert was a Saugus Town Meeting member and had served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.

Robert was the husband of Norma (Woods) Grande, his wife of 13 years. He was the son of Marjorie (Amicone) of Malden and her companion Leo Sullivan and the late Ernest Grande. Robert was the brother of Steven Grande.Brother in-law of Roby & Daniel Woods and Lola Mitchell and her husband Robert. Also survived by loving aunts, cousins and loving friends.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden, on Friday, June 17th at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 660 Washington Avenue, Revere at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday, June 16th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
