Obituary

Richard A Martineau of Tewksbury, formerly of Malden, passed away on October 12, 2025. He was 75 years old.

Richard was the husband of the late Wilfreda (Emerson) Martineau. He was the son of the late George and Giocanda (D'Antuono) Martineau. Richard was the loving father of Traci Martineau, Paul and Kevin Shapleigh, James Kivlehan and Laura Williams. He was the dear brother of George Martineau and his wife Patti, Bruce Martineau and his wife Fran, Stephen Martineau and his wife Karen, Ronald Martineau and his wife Sandra, Wayne Martineau and his wife Sandra, Suzanne DiCiero and her late husband Lewis, Carl Martineau, Renee Smith and her husband Randy and the late Paulette Stanley and her surviving husband Jim. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Richard's life in Saint Joseph Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden on Saturday October 18th at 11:30am. Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday morning from 9:00am-11:00am prior to the Mass.

Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
