Obituary

Ralph A. "Ralphie" Petraglia passed away on August 14, 2008 after a courageous battle. He was 54 years old.

Born in Medford, Ralph grew up in Malden and graduated from Malden High School in 1971. He was a longtime resident of Needham and an avid Red Sox fan and sports fan.

Ralph was the devoted husband of the late Dianne (Lupien) Petraglia. He was the beloved son of Grace (Marra) Petraglia of Malden and the late Ralph P. Petraglia. Ralph was the cherished father of Kristen, Jeffrey and Nancy Petraglia all of Needham and the loving brother of Richard Petraglia and his wife Georgette of Malden and Ann Gilbert and her husband Larry of Malden. He was the uncle of Marisa and Scott Morello and their child Tyler, Jonelle Goncalves and her husband Alessandro and Brian Petraglia. He was also the grandfather of Dylan Petraglia.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, August 18th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 173 Albion Street, Wakefield at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, August 17th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Needham Cemetery.
