Obituary

Philip F. Cappello passed away on October 6, 2011. He was 65 years old.

Born and raised in Medford, Philip was a longtime resident of Malden. Philip was self-employed in the plumbing business and was a member of the Masons and Shriners.

Philip was the devoted husband of Patricia (Meara) Cappello, his wife of 23 years and the son of the late Rosario and Mary (Guarino) Cappello. He was the beloved father of Michelle, Sherri and Bobbi Ann Caissie and Jaclyn and Jean Cappello. Philip was the dear brother of the late Joanne Cappello and the cherished grandfather of Nicholas Caissie. He was affectionately referred to as Boo by his only grandson.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, October 10th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, October 9th from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be private.
