Obituary

Paula (Emmanuele) Lombardo passed away on January 26, 2016. She was 78 years old.

Paula was born and raised in Italy and has been a longtime resident of Malden.

Paula was the beloved mother of Anita Gottschalk and her husband Richard of Wilmington, Salvatore Lombardo of Wakefield, and Carmella Preston and her husband Donald of Florida. She was the dear sister of Antonio Emmanuele, Sebastiana Recupero, Giuseppa Terranova and the late Giuseppe Emmanuele. Paula was the cherished grandmother of Nichole Hall, Brittney Lombardo, Kimberly and Ricky Gottschalk, and Briana and Micah Preston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday January 30th at 10:30a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 29th from 4-8p.m.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
