Obituary

Nelson J. Sousa of Everett, passed suddenly away on May 11, 2023. He was 56 years old.

Born and raised in Somerville, Nelson worked as an auto mechanic for many years. He loved playing hockey and had a passion for old cars.

Nelson was the former husband of Helen (Montpeller) Sousa. He was the son of the late Joseph and Lorraine Sousa. Nelson was the loving father of Jennifer Sousa and her fiance Manny Baez and Zachary Sousa. He was the brother of Linda Pavao and her husband Mario and Ronaldo Sousa and his wife Michelle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday May 17th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
