Obituary

Nancy C. (Palazzo) Posata of Norton, formerly of Malden passed away on February 26, 2012 in Madonna Manor in North Attleboro. She was 96 years old.

Nancy was born in Providence, RI on May 17, 1915. She enjoyed sharing her home cooked specialties, doing her crossword puzzles and feeding the wildlife just outside her door. She loved spending time with her family and hosted family gatherings for every holiday.

Nancy was the daughter of the late Antonio and Adele (Santa Lucia) Palazzo. She was the devoted wife of the late Daniel J. Posata and the beloved mother of Lorraine Grabianowski and her husband Paul of Norton and Daniel J. Posata and his wife Linda of Malden. Nancy was the dear sister of the late Nick Palazzo, Lucy DeGenova, Vincent Palazzo, Eric Palazzo and Carmella Palazzo. She was the cherished grandmother of David Posata of Malden, Michael Grabianowski and his wife Joan of Norton, Suellen Rosenberger and her husband Korwin of Attleboro, Paul Grabianowski of Boston, and Daniel Grabianowski of Norton. Nancy was the adoring great-grandmother of Virginia and Thomas Rosenberger, Joshua Grabianowski and was preceded in death by her great-grandson Michael Grabianowski. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
