Obituary

Michael L DeSandis passed away on January 28, 2016. He was 77 years old.

Michael grew up in Everett and was a longtime resident of Melrose. He owned and operated Melrose Beauty Academy for many years.

Michael was the beloved friend of the late Elaine Decker. He was the son of the late Levi and Elizabeth DeSandis. Michael was the beloved father of Michelle Stacey and her companion T.J. Middleton of Dracut, Steven DeSandis and his wife Tracie of North Andover, and Kevin DeSandis of Derry, NH. He was the cherished grandfather of Amber DeSandis, Jake Stacey, and Daria, Tyler, Mickey, and Brittany DeSandis.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday February 4th at 9:00a.m. followed by a service in the Faith Evangelical Church 200 Franklin Street, Melrose at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday February 3rd from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
