Obituary

Mary J. (Finn) Colella passed away on October 23, 2012. She was 80 years old.

Born in Boston, Mary grew up in Jamaica Plain and was a longtime resident of Malden. She worked for many years as a secretary for the Malden Public Schools and was a board member on the Malden Teachers Credit Union.

Mary was the devoted wife of 50 years to the late Paul V. Colella. She was the beloved mother of Annmarie Linehan and her husband Stephen of Malden, James Colella and his wife Chris of Vermont, and Carol Nigro and her husband Michael of Medford. Mary was dear sister of the late Jack and James Finn. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, October 25th at 10:30 a.m. A visiting hour will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
