Obituary

Mary R. (Cappellucci) Fontana passed away on March 16, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years old.

Mary was the devoted wife of 68 years to Joseph A. Fontana. She was the beloved mother of Donna Abruzi and her husband Steve of Tewksbury and Susan Fontana of Malden. Mary was the dear sister of the late Daniel Cappellucci and Lillian Ciacera. She was the Cherished grandmother of Julie Andriolo and her husband Kevin, Brian Abruzi and his wife Karen, and Joseph Abruzi. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, KJ, Cole, and Will.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday march 21st at 10:30a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday March 20th from 3-7p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
