Obituary

Marie A. (Fasano) Moschella passed away on April 24, 2020. She was 80 years old.

Born in Boston, Marie was raised in the North End. She resided in Quincy for most of her life but recently lived in Melrose. Marie was a family-oriented woman. She devoted her life to being a loving mother and grandmother. Nothing in the world could bring a smile to her face the way her family could. Marie was not only her family's protector, but their confidant and best friend. With her smile and unconditional love, Marie brought light into the lives of everyone she met.

Marie was known as many things. She was brave, strong and most importantly, an Elvis Presley fan. Hours would be spent painting statues of him. Anyone who knew Marie would attest to her love. Her memory lives on through her family.

Marie was the treasured daughter of Frank and Elvira (Pagliuca) Fasano. She was the beloved mother of Michael, Anthony and William Moschella, Marie (Moschella) Zaino and her husband Paul, Toni (Moschella) Ballem and her husband Joe and the late Mark Moschella and Jean (Moschella) McAuliffe. Marie was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She was the dear sister of David Fasano and the late Gina (Fasano) Saturno and Sally (Fasano) Owens. Marie is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Although Marie is no longer with us, her love will not be forgotten. She was cherished by each person she met and forever will be.
