Obituary

Maria J. Monte Alto Brittes, of Everett, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019. After a hard fought battle with cancer, she finally won her wings. She was 76 years old.

Maria was the beloved mother of Adriana Brittes, Patricia Tingos and her late husband Frank, Angelo Ricardo Brittes and his wife Gislene, Marcelo Brittes and his wife Monica Paiva, and Danielle Brittes. She was the dear sister of Anna Helena Marques and Jorge Monte Alto. Maria was the cherished grandmother of Henrique, Angelo, Matthew, Leonardo, Felipe, and Jacklyn, her "little Star". She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, November 9th from 4-7pm. Memorial prayers to take place at 6pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
