Lisa A Parmaxides, 67, of Medford, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Lisa was born on January 6, 1959 to parents of Silverio and June Romaine in Boston, MA.She lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and generosity. She had a warm heart and a welcoming presence, always offering support, compassion, and care to those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Parmaxides, son, Simon Parmaxides, daughter, Christina Chan and her husband Raymond Chan. Her children were the the center of her world, and she took great pride in them.

Lisa was also a loving sister to Donna, Gary, Dennis, and Bobby Romaine, and was predeceased by her brother, John.She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A familiar and cherished presence in the community, Lisa worked for many years at Santoro’s Submarine Sandwiches, where she greeted everyone with a big smile and genuine kindness. She didn’t just serve customers—she made people feel welcome and remembered, leaving a lasting impression on all who walked through the door. If someone didn’t have the money for a sandwich, Lisa would make sure they were fed without hesitation. Her love language was taking care of others, especially feeding them.

Lisa found joy in caring for others and creating meaningful moments for her family. She went above and beyond to make holidays and birthdays special, building traditions and memories that will be treasured forever.

Lisa will be remembered for her selflessness, her strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Funeral service will be held in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn on Tuesday March 24th at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home on Monday March 23rd from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
