Obituary

Lillian E. (Silva) DeVito, of NH formerly of Malden, passed away on April 18, 2016. She was 89 years old.

Lillian was born on June 7, 1926 in Somerville, MA. She worked for Flow Electronics in Cambridge for 6 years and was a matron at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston for 8 years.

Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Jillio A. "Chickie" DeVito. She was the dear mother of Linda Klein of Salem, NH and the late Marilyn Ferro and her husband Joseph of Melrose. Lillian was the cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren and great grandmother of 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday April 22nd at 8:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 21st from 4-8p.m.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
