Obituary

Leanora T. (DelOrfano) Amicangioli passed away on April 17, 2008 at the Life Care Center in Stoneham. She was 85 years old.

A longtime resident of Malden, Leanora worked for many years at Forecaster of Boston as a divider. She was also a member of the Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Leanora was married to the late Louis C. Amicangioli for 30 years. She was the beloved mother of Janet Pilleri and her husband Thomas of Malden, Debra Flynn and her husband James of Medford and the late Nicola Amicangioli. She was the dear sister of Albert DelOrfano, Joseph DelOrfano, Eleanor Anderson, Dorothy Breen and the late Margaret DeStefano, Louis DelOrfano, Amarino DelOrfano and Ann Neary. Leanora was the cherished grandmother of Nicole Antenucci, Michelle Sherblom, Kristin Flynn, and James Flynn III and the great-grandmother of Reese and Brody Sherblom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, April 22nd at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Monday April 21st from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
