Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" S. Phillips Jr. passed away on November 18, 2011. He was 50 years old.

Born and raised in California, Larry enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. He was a resident of Malden for 20 years and worked at the Veterans Hospital in Jamaica Plain for 20 years. He loved to go fishing and was a parishioner of Boston Church of Christ.

Larry was the devoted husband of Mary (Talty) Phillips. He was the beloved son of Lawrence Phillips Sr. and his wife Doris of California and the late Florence Phillips. Larry was the dear brother of Virginia Cisco and Lily Human. He was the stepbrother of David, Mark, Paul and John Steensland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, November 26th at 1:00 p.m. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
