Obituary

Lawrence Cappelluzzi passed away on April 2, 2008 at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere. He was 79 years old.

A life-long resident of Malden, Lawrence worked at Logan Airport for over 30 years as a re-fueler for airplanes. Most recently, he worked as a crossing guard in the city of Malden. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.

Lawrence was married to the late Audrey (Weeks) Cappelluzzi and was the devoted father of Scott Cappelluzzi and his wife Janice of Revere. He was the dear brother of John Cappelluzzi of Peabody and the late Anthony Cappelluzzi and Gina Thompson. Lawrence was also the cherished grandfather of Anthony and Bianca Cappelluzzi of Revere.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, April 5th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, April 4th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
