Obituary

Laura Dorothy (Hopkins ) Jones , 97, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John B. Jones. Laura was the loving mother of Elizabeth "Betty" Booth, Joseph C. Jones, Russell P. Jones, James E. Jones and the late Ethel Griffin, Mary Jones, John and Tommy Jones. Also survived by her sister F. Virginia Peacock-Makkers and brother Dr. Thomas F. Hopkins and many, many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden, on Thurs., July 12 @ 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the service from 9AM-Noon. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
