Obituary

Judy (Evans) Leighton passed away at her home on February 21, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She was 68 years old.

Born in Newburyport, Judy was a long time resident of Malden and had worked as a presser for a dry cleaning Business.

Judy was the devoted wife of William R. Leighton and the loving mother of William R. Leighton Jr. of Malden. She was the dear sister of Eugene Evans of Maine, Don Evans of Connecticut, Lois Marshall and Barry Evans both of Malden, Lee Glennon of Everett and the late Nancy Rivas. She is also survived by one granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, February 25th from 2-6 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. during the visitation. Interment will be private.
