Obituary

Josephine A. (Rosa) Rucci passed away peacefully on December 18, 2018. She was 88 years old.

Josephine was born and raised in Everett and a longtime resident of Malden.

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late William F. Rucci Sr. She was the loving mother of William F. Rucci Jr. and his wife Renee of Middleton and Karen R. Bergthold and her husband Charles of Brookline. Josephine was the dear sister of Jean Rucci and her husband Robert and the late Carl Rosa and his late wife Ethel, and Ronald Rosa and his surviving wife Rosemarie. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas Rucci and Erika Johnston and her husband Sean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday December 22nd at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
