Obituary

Joseph F. Wierszchalek, passed away unexpectedly in his home on February 22, 2025. He was 85 years old.

Born on September 10, 1939, in Melrose, Massachusetts, to the late Frank Wierszchalek and Anna Kupzcewski.

Joseph was a retired demolition laborer and was known for his hard work and commitment.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 65 years Marjorie (Tilton) Wierszchalek, and three of his children: Joseph P. Wierszchalek, Ronald Wierszchalek, and Cheryl Lavoie.
He is survived by his children Brenda Laughton and Kimberly Sousa, as well as many brothers and sisters.

Joseph cherished his ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
He will be remembered for his kindness, strength and unwavering love for his family.

He found joy in coloring, taking long walks, cooking, and listening to country music.
With a strong presence, a gentle spirit, and a warm smile, Joseph touched the hearts of everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed.
