Obituary

Joseph A. Romano, Jr. "Joe-Joe", passed away after a brief fight with illness on June 11, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1972 in Boston, MA. He is predeceased by his father Joseph A. Romano, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Josephine Romano (Bono); his two sons, Joseph A. Romano III, & Anthony E. Romano; his wife Lisa M. Romano of Malden, MA; his sister Debra Romano, nephew Aidan G. Romano of North Andover, MA; as well as his best friends, Dean Testa of Saugus, MA and Robert Pollara of Wareham, MA along with many aunts and cousins.

Joe was a longtime resident of Malden, MA who deeply loved and cared for his family. He enjoyed planning & attending his many vacations spent with friends and family. Where he was his happiest was out on the water, boating and fishing. His most recent trip was to Florida with his best friend since childhood, Deano. Above all else though, he loved to spend time with his boys. Be it hanging out, watching movies, working on computers with Joseph or riding and working on motorcycles with Anthony. Just as his father did, Joe made sure that his boys knew that he would always watch over them as their guardian angel.

He was employed at Foley Hoag in Boston, MA as an IT Support Specialist. He is an alumni of Malden Catholic High School and attended Clark University and received a certificate in PC Services & Support.

Joe is to be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.
