Obituary

Joseph J. Picardi passed away on May 20, 2009. He was 60 years old.

Born in Malden, Joseph graduated from Malden High School and was a lifelong resident of Malden. He also lived for 4 years in Florida where he was an avid golfer. Joseph was a retired Massport employee and was a member of the Italian American Citizens Club in Malden and the Ventura Country Club in Orlando, Florida.

Joseph was married to Nancy (Sweny) Picardi, his beloved wife of 38 years. He was the loving father of Joseph Picardi and his wife Terri of Medford, Karen Picardi of Malden and Jessica Picardi of Reading. He was the dear brother of Theresa Bilicki and her husband Joseph of Wakefield and the brother-in-law of Lorraine Mazza and her husband Bill, Donna Corbett and her husband Bill and Lois McCluskey and her husband Richard. Joseph was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas J. Iacoviello. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, May 22nd from 4-8 p.m. Interment private. Please omit flowers.
