Obituary

Joseph A. McCarthy passed away on May 6, 2020. He was 81 years old.

Joe spent 30 years in Driver Education after which he spent 29 years as Night Security at MIT. He also served proudly in the USCG Reserve and USAF.

Joe was the beloved husband of Judith C. McCarthy. He was the loving father of Cindy A. Kough, Stanley P. Giangregorio, Mark S. Giangregorio, Sandra L. Giangregorio and Brian J. McCarthy. Joe was preceded in death by his father, John A. McCarthy, his mother, Vivian McCarthy and his brother, John McCarthy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with the Department of Public Health and restrictions on gatherings due to COVID-19, private services will be held for the immediate family.
