Obituary

Joseph A. LeDonne passed away on February 1, 2011. He was 72 years old.

Born in Leominster, Joseph lived in Malden for 60 years before moving to Peabody where he resided for the past 6 years. He was married to Diane (Wedge) LeDonne, his devoted wife of 53 years. Joseph was a member of the St. Joseph's Men's Club and Bike to the Sea and had served in the Army National Guard.

Joseph was the beloved father of Robert J. LeDonne of Deerfield, NH, Michael LeDonne and his wife Julianna of W. Newbury and Danielle LeDonne Svenson and her husband Eric of Peabody. He was the dear brother of Virginia LeDonne Thornton and Robert LeDonne and the cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, February 5th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, February 4th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
