Obituary

Joseph P. Ferro passed away on November 2, 2022. He was 80 years old.

Joseph was a resident of Melrose and formerly a longtime resident of Everett. He loved anything to do with trains and loved his gadgets.

Joseph was the husband of the late Marilyn (DeVito) Ferro. He was the beloved father of Leanne Dishion of Melrose and Joseph A. Ferro and his longtime partner Jessica Martin of Everett. Joseph was the dear brother of Rose Ann Liggiero and Nicholas Ferro. He was the cherished grandfather of Nathan and Kaelyn Dishion and Hailey and Camdyn Ferro. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday November 8th at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
