Obituary

John A. Vella passed away suddenly on March 5, 2013. He was 41 years old.

John grew up in East Boston and graduated East Boston High School. He was a resident of Malden for the past 10 years and worked for the City of Boston as a revenue agent.

John was the beloved son of Gina "Jean" (Barile) Vella and the late Lewis Vella. He was the loving brother of Joseph Vella of North Reading and his late wife Maria, Robert Vella and his wife Donna of Saugus and Joanne Pesce of Malden. John was the cherished uncle of Jason and Christopher Vella and Brianna Pesce.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, March 12th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, March 11th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
