Obituary

John Templeton passed away suddenly on October 23, 2016. He was 40 years old. John grew up in Malden and attended Malden Catholic High School where he participated in Football, Baseball, and basketball. He then went on to Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH where he was the leading rebounder and scorer for the basketball team in his sophomore year, and also coached girls softball. John was an avid pool player and racing handicapper. He enjoyed all the Boston home team sports and worked as a mortgage loan officer and also for a collection agency.

John was the beloved son of Thomas N. Templeton of Hampton, NH and Nancy Seaver of York, ME. He was the loving father of Ashlee Locke. John was the dear brother of Joseph L. Templeton of Hampton, NH and Thomas N. Templeton Jr. and his wife Melanie Mason of Danvers. He was the uncle of Thomas N. Templeton III and Matthew Shay Templeton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday October 27th from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
