Obituary

John S. Reed passed away on August 29, 2012. He was 78 years old.

John was from Malden but also enjoyed spending time at his second home in Poultney, VT. He was self-employed in the manufacturing textile industry and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

John was the devoted husband of Nancy (Dowling) Reed, his wife of 19 years. He was the beloved father of John Stuart Reed II of Houston, TX, Peter David Reed of Palm Beach, FL and Jennifer Lee Reed of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. John was the cherished grandfather of Morgan Lee Reed, Peter David Reed Jr., Nicole Lee Perham and MacKenzie Amanda Parham.

A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, September 1st at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
