Obituary

John Thomas "Jackie" McKenzie passed away on November 22, 2021. He was 76 years old.

Born in Somerville, Jackie was a late U.S. Air Force Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. He was a retired firefighter for the City of Somerville retiring as a Lieutenant and was also a loving family man.

Jackie was married to his beloved wife Mary E. (Carpenito) McKenzie for 53 years. He was the loving father of Theresa Fay and Tracy Provost both of Malden. Jackie was the dear brother of Richard McKenzie and his wife Jennifer, Paul McKenzie and his wife Elizabeth and the late Michael McKenzie and the cherished grandfather of Melissa Provost and Thomas Provost. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Sunday, November 28th from 1-3pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
