Obituary

John M. Cornetta passed away on November 1, 2020. He was 87 years old.

John was a longtime resident of Malden and a retired State Trooper for the Massachusetts State Police.

John was the former husband of Grace M. Cornetta. He was the loving father of Lisa G. Cornetta of Everett and the late David J. Cornetta. John was the cherished grandfather of Kristine Snyder, Laura Cohron, David Cornetta, John Cornetta, Amy Cornetta, Cheryl Cornetta and Stephen Sutton. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday November 5th from 4-8pm, and gather again at the funeral home on Friday morning at 10:00am for a short period before leaving in procession to Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose for the committal. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
